Setting a new benchmark for Vietnam’s loofah industry
As global consumers increasingly favor sustainable materials, Green Fiber stands as proof that Vietnam can supply high-quality loofah—soft, naturally white, and every bit as good as products from China or Egypt – while still keeping prices affordable for all customers.
Green Fiber – The trailblazer in international-standard loofah production
Why “raise the bar” for loofah?
For many, the familiar image of loofah is a sun-dried gourd left hanging on the vine: dark-yellow, coarse fibers – fine for scrubbing pots, but unsuitable for bathing, massage, or premium hand-crafts. Output is also limited because farmers typically harvest young gourds for food.
The challenge, then, is clear: How to produce thick, soft, naturally white loofah in steady volumes to satisfy a wide range of markets.
The journey to a new standard
Green Fiber tackles that challenge at industrial scale. On more than 100 hectares of fertile land in Ea Súp (Đắk Lắk), the company runs a closed-loop irrigation system that precisely controls nutrients and humidity at every growth stage. At harvest, gourds are dried and processed under strict natural methods that preserve their light-ivory color and remove impurities – without chemical bleaching.
The result is loofah that is soft, bright, and durable. Favorable soil, modern technology, and a dedicated team of agronomists together define a new “Vietnam standard” that meets the stringent expectations of consumers in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
Production capacity & Expansion vision
With its own raw-material base, Green Fiber now ships over 10 million loofah items per year – from bath pads and back scrubbers to shoe insoles and crafts. The company aims to boost output five- to ten-fold within five years by partnering with farming cooperatives nationwide. The “grow-together, harvest-together, profit-together” model secures supply while creating jobs and sustainable income for rural households.
Every Green Fiber pad is gentle on skin – breathable, soft – and fully biodegradable at end of life, helping cut plastic waste that pollutes the oceans. Large-scale yet tightly controlled production keeps prices competitive, making premium loofah accessible both at home and abroad.
A modern symbol of green living
With a clear strategy, Green Fiber is turning loofah – once an ordinary material – into a new emblem of eco-friendly living. The brand delivers more than products; it spreads a message of environmental responsibility and sustainable use of local resources to build lasting economic value. Woven into each soft white fiber is the story of Tây Nguyên’s red soil, advanced agri-tech, and a dream to elevate a Vietnamese brand to the world stage.
Green Fiber believes: When every household chooses a sustainable loofah pad, we weave a greener future – where human health and planetary health go hand in hand. Are you ready to change your buying habits and join the journey?
